Forced into Quickbooks Online?

All The Features, Zero Limitations

All the Features, None of the Limitations

Over the past year, many businesses have migrated their Quickbooks Desktop to Quickbooks Online. In doing this, business owners found the limitations and constraints of Quickbooks Online - one of the largest being the inability to run multiple companies using the same license. Other issues have come up such as the loss of data in the migration to Quickbooks Online; Loss of support for 3rd Party Software; Lack of functionality and customizability; and Automatic Updates to the software.

AppEazy has shown to be a proven solution for businesses affording all the features of Quickbooks Online with none of the limitations. Businesses are able to run the Quickbooks version that they are accustomed to with the added cloud-like features built into AppEazy.

  • Anywhere Access - Connect to your Quickbooks Pro/Premier/Enterprise from anywhere, with practically any device.
  • Automatic Backup - AppEazy keeps a backup of your data for 30 days or more!
  • Hosted Anywhere - Keep Quickbooks on premise at your office, or have it hosted anywhere. No matter where it is, the features stay the same!
  • Disaster Recovery - Should a disaster hit, we can have you back up and running in approximately an hour.

Integrity of Your Backups

Integrety of

When was the last time you tested your backups? Hopefully, it wasn't due to a complete catastrophe. You probably are running backup software that automatically takes your data and moves it to a partition on your hard disk, or to a server in the cloud. While this is best practice, it is only a small piece of the puzzle.

Backups need to be tested to ensure that the data within them is correct and also not corrupt. If the intern makes a mistake in the data and that data is backed up, then your backup is now flawed. You could continue for days, weeks, even months backing up this data that is incorrect and when you need it, it's impossible to recover.

We at Applianz recommend to perform a Backup Integrity Check at least once a quarter, if not more frequently. Performing a Backup Integrity Check ensures that your data is safe and secure, as well as accessible to you.

If you are already an Applianz customer, then contact Support today to schedule a Backup Integrity Check!

Windows Server 2003 & XP Security Risk

Is your business vulnerable to the security risks associated with Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP?

July will mark the one-year anniversary since Microsoft ended Support for Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP. With this in mind, we would like to update you on the potential risks of security associated with staying on Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP.

    1. Unpatched Vulnerabilities

Any vulnerabilities or exploits discovered by hackers are not going to be patched. According to a US-Cert alert, this could cause irreparable damage to your business through "the loss of confidentiality, integrity, and or availability of data, system resources and business assets."

    2. Compliance

Businesses who run Windows Server 2003 will not be able to maintain PCI, HIPAA, or other major compliances. The vulnerabilities in Windows Server 2003 could compromise customer privacy and credit card security.

    3. Backdoor

Customers who have systems running Windows Server 2003 or XP at their facility may unknowingly be providing a backdoor into other systems at their office. These backdoors allow hackers to their other systems on the network thought to be secure.
