  8. The program we want to install on the Applianz System integrates with MS Office. Can I install Office on the remote sessions?

  1. Does the customer have to pay extra for Applianz Automated Backup Service and hardware maintenance?

    No. Those are components of CompleteAssurance and are included in year one at no additional charge. After the first year their CompleteAssurance options are:

    • Mid Market Series: $195/month or $1995 annually.
    • Enterprise Series: $295/month or $2995 annually.
  2. Why should a customer who already has a traditional server replace it with an Applianz solution?

    Besides performing server functionality, an Applianz System includes CompleteAssurance at no additional charge, which gives them:

    • Remote Access
    • Off-Site Data Back Up
    • Hardware Maintenance
    • Security Updates
    • Bundled Microsoft Licensing
    • System Monitoring
    • Business Continuity
  3. Can my customers find a better price on the internet?

    No. Applianz only sells through value added resellers (VAR'S).

  4. Can I install other programs on the Applianz System such as Microsoft Office?

    Yes. Microsoft Office can be installed on the Applianz System (customer responsible for licensing) along with additional 3rd party applications which integrate with your software. If you are unsure if your software will work, we highly recommend you contact an Applianz Support professional before installation.

  5. What if Applianz doesn't support a software application that my company sells, but we would like to run it on an Applianz System?

    Applianz is constantly testing new applications, contact your Channel Account Manager to discuss your options.

  6. How do I add more users?

    There are a couple options. Depending on the size of the current system, you may be able to simply add additional licenses to the Applianz System. If you are already at max capacity of users, we provide a trade-in policy to allow you to upgrade to a new system.

  7. Do I own my data? I've heard some online service providers actually own my data?

    Yes, you own your data even if you have purchased a hosted solution.

  8. The program we want to install on the Applianz System integrates with Microsoft Office. Can I install Office on the remote sessions?

    Yes, Microsoft Office can be installed on the remote sessions as long as you have licenses for it. Ask your Reseller or an Applianz Channel Account Manager for more information.

  9. Will Applianz contact my customers directly without my knowledge or consent?

    Absolutely not. We will only interact with your customer during the sales process at your request.
